The National Hotel Fremantle 1895 - Vibrant Original Artwork

This vibrant artwork celebrates the restoration of the wonderful old Fremantle National Hotel. In the midst of a renovation in 2007, the National Hotel was gutted in a fire lit by vandals. With its sad bones looming over the busy intersection of High Street it looked like another heritage building would be lost from old Fremantle. Now having its own Cinderella moment it has been completely transformed and its beautiful sweeping verandahs reinstated.

Now a popular venue for locals and visitors alike it once again is bursting with life. If only the walls could talk!
