Expectation continues to build as a pregnancy progresses and along with it, all the myriad feelings - excitement, hope and fears - as the impending arrival gets closer and closer. Motherhood is a huge shift in a woman’s life - whether it be the first or subsequent child, each as precious as the other. Its so exciting wondering about your new little person - how they might look and what their character might be like.
I used to wonder how I could possibly love my second child as much as I loved my first but I need not have worried. I soon discovered love multiplies. It doesn’t divide.
